If you’re like me, you’re probably a little disorganized in most areas of life, and if you’re an ADHD entrepreneur, it probably impacts your ability to be successful in business.
That has definitely been the case for me, until I learned about Notion. That’s when everything changed, because I finally found something that helps me organize my business in a way that works for my brain.
What is Notion? Is it Free?
Notion is a software that you can make anything with without ever having to know how to code. You can store info, track projects, keep a to do list, and all kinds of other personal and professional things. I do everything in Notion now. It’s literally my second brain.
Notion does have a free version, but I pay for the upgraded version because I get unlimited storage and their amazing AI features that does so much for me that I don’t have to hire help in my business (yet).
Notion Makes Organization So ADHD-Friendly
Notion is perfect for those of us with ADHD. You can create any kind of dashboard or tool to have everything just one click away. You can organize it in so many ways so that you don’t forget important things (especially if you have working memory issues). i
I love how flexible the tool is because it can be customized to suit anyone’s needs and support any kind of business. The template I developed is ideal for a small business person who works alone, or who is building a small team.
Tour My Notion Setup
In the video above, I’m giving you a full behind the scenes tour of how I’m operating my business in Notion. I love this setup because it’s designed to be ADHD-friendly. I
The Dashboard
Starting at the top, I have an area where I can put the most important thing that I need to be focused on right now. Below that is a master to-do list with a few different views, including a team view, a view by project, and a view of my personal tasks for the week.
Three Pillars of My Business
The three main pillars of my dashboard are operations, marketing, and work. Operations is the foundation of your business, and it’s important to have it dialed in. Notion helps me think through how to build my own operations and build out my team. The marketing pillar houses my content workflow, customer insights, and branding. The Work pillar is where I list all of the products that I’ve created in my business.
More Features in the Notion Template
I also use this Notion template to track finances, team information, customer insights, my customer avatar, and it houses all my branding and marketing assets. I even have a content calendar and a swipe file database for content inspiration.

Notion Has Helped Support my ADHD in So Many Ways ❤️
I love Notion for so many reasons, but especially because it has streamlined my workflow and made starting my day so much easier. Every morning when I start my day at my desk, I know exactly where to go to get things done and I finally have all the many pieces of my business stored in one place.
If there’s such a thing as small business nirvana, I think I’ve found it.
