Whether it’s Christmas, a birthday, or any other time of year when you want to treat your favorite ADHD’er to a little something – then this list is a great place to start.
I’ve designed this gift list based on what I think most ADHD adults (or any adult for that matter) could find use from. I’m not talking about fidget toys and other junky gifts that just become clutter. These are meaningful, useful and beautiful.
My Favorite ADHD Gift Ideas
White Noise Sound Machine – for Awesome Sleep
Every ADHD’er needs great sleep to function well. I recently tried this at an airbnb that I stayed at and it was awesome! I fell asleep to the sounds of nature every night. It was non-obtrusive, realistic sounding and it was so calming to my nervous system
Weighted Blankets – to Calm the Nervous System
This weighted blanket is both beautiful and affordable. Weighted blankets are VERY calming and grounding to the nervous system, so if you’re feeling stressed or just need to get back into your body – climb under this (and thank me later).
Noise canceling earplugs – to manage overstimulation
These are a must-have if you’re overstimulated by noise. Pop these in and crawl under that weighted blanket and enjoy the sensory experience of just going inward. I also love the noise canceling airpods, but I wouldn’t want to sleep in them.
Apple air tags – to stop losing important things
These small tags are AMAZING for those of us who tend to lose things. Drop one in your purse, put one on your keys, attach one to your phone, heck put one in your child’s backpack so you always know where they are. These things are a must for everyone – not just ADHD’ers.
Big-Ass White Boards – to remind yourself and think visually
I have two of these… one in my office and one in my little home gym. They’re not cute, but HIGHLY effective. It’s ideal for jotting things down, making mind maps, or planning something where you need visual support.
Breathing Lamp – to help you get your zen on
This small lamp that leads you through breathing exercises visually, with color. Great if you struggle to focus on “not thinking” because it gives you something to do as you’re calming down. Brilliant idea and very affordable.
Cute Timers – to not lose track of time
We all know why we need timers. Time just gets away from us. But it’s so important to have a timer that’s NOT on your phone because we all know that’s a rabbit hole distraction, and also, we need to be able to see time slipping away. I like this one because of it’s clean aesthetic.
Perfect books for ADHD Adults
I’m going to bypass the obvious ADHD-related books and recommend a few that are not ADHD specific, but I feel are game changers in terms of how we feel about ourselves and manage our lives. They should be required reading for all ADHD’ers (IMHO).
Essentialism – my favorite all time book that really helps prioritize what’s most important – something that can be a struggle for us.
Gap + Gain – Wow, if you struggle with self-trust and feel like you’re not “reaching your potential”, this is a must read, because it’s likely that you’re looking for “success” in the wrong place. SUCH a good read.
Own Your Weird – Written by my business mentor, this is a permission slip to do things your own way and why it’s so important. I loved this book and it’s a quick easy read.
Digital ADHD Planning Tools for ADHD’ers
Shameless plug for Vision to Action if you or someone you love needs help clarifying goals and actually getting them done.
The Organized Business is perfect for someone who is getting a business off the ground and feeling totally scattered (I’ve been there!).

The ADHD Reset (Jump on the Waitlist)
Launching in January 2025, this is an 8-week cohort program designed to adult ADHD’ers get clear on strengths, challenges and values and do a massive reset towards integrating new routines into their day-to-day life.
That’s a wrap on my favorite things for adults with ADHD. Again, we don’t need more clutter than we already have, so whatever you chose to buy for the ADHD’er in your life (including yourself), just make sure it’s going to add value rather than just take up more space 🙂

Such a great list — thank you! Just bought the timer in yellow.☀️
Re: weighted blankets: is 15lbs the best/most effective weight? I’ve never purchased one because I get stuck in an ADD-induced research wormhole.🤦♀️ At this point, I just want someone to tell me what to buy.😊 (Which you did — I’m just wondering if there’s something magical about 15lbs.)
Thanks again!

15lbs is just a manageable weight. Not too much that it’s hard to use, and not too little that you don’t get the weighted benefits.
