When I say this tool saved my business, I’m not exaggerating.
As an ADHD adult, I struggle with organization, planning and remembering things. So, before this system came into my world, my business was scattered across different softwares, emails, papers with lists scribbled on them… you get the picture.
I was spending so much time looking for stuff and recreating the wheel, that I had no time to actually build the business. I was drowning in clutter.
So I created this structure out of sheer necessity and ever since then, I’ve saved so much time and angst. So today, I want to walk you through everything I put into this system so you can either make it for yourself, or if you prefer, you can purchase my template right here.
The Heart of Your ADHD Coaching Business: The Dashboard
The Coach Hub begins with a dashboard, your central command station. The dashboard is neatly divided into operations, marketing, and your specific work. In the operations section, you can define your mission, vision, values, track your goals, create projects, assign tasks and just generally stay on top of day-to-day operations. It’s like having a master task list that keeps you on track. If you have a team, you can include them in your task management system, creating a collaborative work environment.
Finance and Revenue Tracking in Your Coaching Business
One feature I find particularly useful is the tool for tracking finances. It caters to however many revenue streams your ADHD coaching business offers. In my business, at the end of every month, I take some time to document revenue from all my sources (I use the Wave App to manage my transactions). I set quarterly revenue goals, and then track my monthly progress towards those goals in this system.
No matter what system you use, just make sure you’re taking the time on a monthly basis to track the financial health of your business. It’s so important to know where your income is coming from, and also tracking expenses as well.
Team Management and Standard Operating Procedures
Although I am a solopreneur, I wanted to create a team page and a structure for creating Standard Operating Procedures, because I know it’s important to document processes in my business now. Why? Because when I get to the point of needing help, I probably won’t have a lot of time to train and onboard.
I recommend all small businesses go through the process of documenting processes so they can quickly and seamlessly train new employees or contractors, when the time comes.
I also created an area specifically for team members to showcase who they are, and what they do. This will help new employees get a feel for who everyone is when they first onboard.
ADHD Coaching Client CRM and Content Strategy
The client Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is best suited if you are coaching ten or fewer clients at a time. For larger client bases, I recommend using a coaching-specific software for more automation. I have used and love Paperbell and Practice.do because they both provide a LOT of flexibility and you aren’t charged more for adding new offers or getting new clients.
One of the sections I value the most is the content calendar, which is essentially a system for building content for your ADHD coaching business. It allows you to manage and organize content ideas by topic, by date or by platform. This has been a true lifesaver for me!
There’s also a database for collecting customer pain points. It’s so important to stay close to what your customer’s are struggling with and use their language in your marketing. This is how you build reson
Strategic Planner: The Game Changer
One of my favorite parts of this template is the strategic planner. It includes example templates, a planner, and even a monthly review template to track revenue streams, plan goals, and track progress towards them.
From one page, you can see all your goals, tasks, upcoming content and also complete your weekly and monthly reviews. This system and habit has been a game-changer for me over the past two years, both in my life and business.
Documenting a Body of Work : Offers, Products + Coaching Tools
What sets the Coach template apart from anything I’ve seen before, is the area dedicated to your body of work. As a coach, you probably have tools that you often use with your clients, whether they are your own, or models you learned in your coach training program.
Having a specific place to store and share these items makes it so easy for you to just grab things when you’re on a call with a client and quickly send it off to them.
The template also offers a workbook style template to help you map out your offers and products. You can plan out your program dates, promotional dates, track total revenue and even apply clients directly from your CRM into this database.
Bonus Feature: A Peek Into My ADHD Coaching Business!
Lastly, the bonus feature of the Coach Hub is that it gives you a look at my systems for marketing, capturing emails, selling my products, tracking my revenue, and onboarding and offboarding new clients. It’s like a behind-the-scenes tour of how I run my ADHD coaching business, and you’re free to adopt what works for you.
I can’t say enough about this sweet little tool. The Coach Hub has been a game-changer in streamlining my ADHD coaching business. It helps keep everything on a single dashboard, reducing the need for endless clicks and searches. I hope you find it as beneficial as I have. Remember, every tool is as effective as its user. So, make the most of it and see your ADHD coaching business reach new heights.
